Rivers Run Trio

How does together begin?

You began together with a look, a smile. We began in small footie pajamas, and with a dog named Rivers. Journeying forth in forced apologies, toy animals, and in the violin, our sisterly togetherness has brought us back to the mountains and the Gallatin Valley. Deepening love for one another and for music has kept us close through a combined 40 years of playing and crying and laughing together. We love that moment of silence before she approaches the aisle; the clinks of glasses and chatter among friends; the depth of gratitude shared among family celebrating a life well lived. Wherever your journey has led you together, we want to cut through that silence with the piercing beauty of the sound of strings, and of lovers gathered. Walk through promise, celebration, mourning – together – with music.

I will never forget the sound of the strings playing Cannon in D while I walked down the aisle. In addition to creating a lovely atmosphere before, during, and after the ceremony, having live musicians was a huge help during wedding planning! Any form of recorded music requires a sound system able to play music tracks. And I can't say how many weddings I've been to where the person in charge plays the wrong track at a crucial point in the ceremony! All that to say, these ladies TRULY come with no strings attached ;) What better way to add beauty to your wedding and save yourself planning hassles at the same time.

The group performed beautifully.  They were professional in every respect.  I supplied the music.  It was complicated to translate the sheet music I found into music for the wedding.  A vocal part became a violin.  Anna played the guitar in two songs.  I have no music background and had no way to know if the music I ordered would work out.  The Bordens and their fellow musicians were able to bring their musical experience to pull it all together for us.

I would highly recommend the Bordens.

5 stars! The music for our ceremony was beautiful. Anna even lead a worship song while playing her guitar. They came prepared and were very flexible with our song choices and willing to learn anything beforehand if they didn't already know it. I would highly recommend this talented trio for your wedding. You will NOT be disappointed!
